Government Relations Executive – Education Sector

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a Government Relations Executive to support its charter schools in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring compliance with local education authorities and building strong relationships with regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain compliance with ADEK, KHDA, MOHRE and ICP regulations, including staff approvals and licensing.
• Liaise with government entities to facilitate effective communication and resolve compliance issues.
• Track and renew employee work permits, residence visas, Emirates IDs and ensure all documentation is up‑to‑date.
• Support the Operations team in school licensing, Emiratisation targets and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, filing systems and document control for all compliance related paperwork.
• Report non‑compliance incidents and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in Management, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in administration/HR within a school environment governed by ADEK/KHDA.

Required skills

• Good Arabic and English communication skills (verbal & written).
• Proficient computer, system and MS Office skills.
