Government Relations Officer (UAE National Only)

About the role

The Government Relations Officer will manage and respond to requests from courts, police, public prosecution and other regulatory bodies across the UAE and Qatar. The role ensures that all cases are processed accurately, compliantly and within defined service levels, supporting the Manager and the unit head in achieving operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Process UAE court orders and Qatar court orders in line with approved procedures and SLAs.
• Handle police letters, enquiries and public prosecution correspondence across all UAE emirates.
• Manage inboxes and respond to email enquiries from government entities and stakeholders.
• Execute case processing through the Velocity‑MOFT system where applicable.
• Ensure all communications comply with regulatory instructions and internal policies.
• Monitor, coordinate and follow up on assigned cases to guarantee timely closure.
• Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Coordinate with internal teams and maintain effective liaison with regulators and external support functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by line management.

Required profile

• UAE national (as specified).
• Experience handling government and regulatory queries in banking or financial services.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within defined service level agreements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Velocity‑MOFT case management system.
