Graduate Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Penspen is looking for recent Mechanical Engineering graduates to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role supports the engineering department on oil‑and‑gas projects, providing technical assistance and preparing design documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team on project tasks and business requirements.
• Perform technical analysis of engineering problems.
• Prepare non‑critical engineering design documents and deliverables.
• Support the creation of mechanical and piping design outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• 0‑3 years of experience in the oil & gas sector (preferred).
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and basic design concepts.
• Ability to produce engineering deliverables that meet company technical standards.

Required skills

• Mechanical and/or piping engineering design.
• Use of 2D and 3D CAD applications.
• Knowledge of PDS or equivalent design software.
• Understanding of basic engineering processes and standards.
