Graphic Communication Specialist – Retail

About the role

The Graphic Communication Specialist ensures that all in‑store graphics at IKEA Jebel Ali follow IKEA’s brand standards and effectively showcase product features. Working closely with sales and logistics teams, the role supports store sales targets through well‑planned visual solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with the IKEA Trade Name & Word mark according to the trademark manual and company policy.
• Plan, design and implement high‑level graphic solutions across store areas to highlight product features and solutions.
• Conduct daily and weekly checks on graphic displays to ensure standards, correct translations and proper installation.
• Collaborate with sales and in‑store logistics to align graphic solutions with sales targets and activity calendars.
• Install and update notice boards, signage, posters and other communication tools in both customer‑facing and back‑of‑house areas.
• Execute changes to graphics as directed by the Graphic Communication Leader to support commercial activities.
• Stay informed on competitor activities, local market trends and customer communication to continuously improve in‑store visual impact.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Strong customer focus with a commitment to maintaining high store standards.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate personal leadership.
• Effective teamwork skills and accountability for individual tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Macintosh graphic design software.
• Experience operating sign‑making equipment.
