Head of Tax & Accounting - Russian & English Required

About the role

StableGrowz, a Dubai‑based business setup and relocation firm, is launching an in‑house tax and accounting division. As the founding Head of Tax & Accounting, you will design the function from the ground up, create processes, and lead the team as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement internal processes, SOPs, and compliance policies for tax and accounting.
• Set up client onboarding workflows, document management systems, and reporting templates.
• Select and configure accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks).
• Define service packages, pricing tiers, and delivery timelines.
• Recruit, train, and mentor future team members.
• Manage the full accounting cycle for clients, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed‑asset accounting, and preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE standards.
• Handle VAT returns, corporate income tax filings, payroll processing, and ensure compliance with UAE labor and tax regulations.
• Support external audits and advise clients on accounting, tax, and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Fluent in Russian and English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; ACCA, CPA or CMA a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing or tax within the UAE market.
• Proven ability to build and scale a department or practice from scratch.
• Experience in consulting or outsourcing firms and with free‑zone companies is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE tax regulations.
• VAT compliance and corporate tax expertise.
• Payroll processing and WPS compliance.
• Proficiency with Zoho Books, Xero and QuickBooks.
