Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Technician to support AL TAIF’s maintenance and overhaul operations for the UAE Armed Forces. The role ensures safety and environmental standards are upheld across workshops, warehouses and offices.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safety and environmental protocols in all AL TAIF facilities.
• Inspect work areas for hazards, report findings to the HSE Supervisor.
• Advise staff on proper HSE procedures and conduct internal HSE training.
• Assist employees in preparing risk assessments, job hazard analyses and environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare inspection reports and recommendations.
• Ensure hazardous and non‑hazardous waste is managed according to company procedures and UAE regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information and support the HSE team.
• Perform additional duties as required by the HSE Manager.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years experience in an HSE role.
• Ability to monitor and analyse HSE trends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email correspondence.
• Capability to learn and apply UAE HSE regulations.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
