History Teacher – Start September 2026

About the role

GEMS FirstPoint School is seeking an outstanding History Teacher to join its faculty in September 2026. The role offers the chance to teach the British curriculum to a diverse, international student body and may lead to middle‑leadership positions such as Head of Year or ECA Coordinator for suitably qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality History lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, assess and record student progress accurately.
• Create an inclusive, innovative classroom environment that fosters curiosity.
• Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Contribute to co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes supporting whole‑school initiatives.
