Homeroom Teacher – Al Falah City (KG Cycle 1)

About the role

The International Community Schools are seeking a dedicated Homeroom Teacher for Al Falah City, teaching KG Cycle 1 students (ages 5‑8). The role involves delivering the British National Curriculum EYFS/Key Stage 1 or equivalent, fostering a supportive learning environment, and collaborating with parents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum EYFS/Key Stage 1, American Common Core, or IB PYP.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative data and adapt instruction to diverse learning needs.
• Integrate educational technology such as interactive whiteboards and online learning platforms into daily teaching.
• Maintain effective classroom management and positive behavior guidance.
• Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with colleagues to support student development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject plus a PGCE/PGDE or Teaching Diploma.
• Valid teaching licence recognised by the UAE Ministry of Education.
• 2‑3 years of full‑time teaching experience with children aged 5‑8 in an international school setting.
• Experience with British National Curriculum EYFS/Key Stage 1, American Common Core, or IB PYP.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for EAL learners.
