Key responsibilities

• Set high expectations, motivate and challenge pupils.
• Maintain a safe classroom rooted in mutual respect.
• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and guidance.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
• Promote literacy, articulacy, and correct use of Standard English.
• Implement systematic synthetic phonics for early reading and appropriate strategies for early mathematics.
• Contribute to curriculum design and extracurricular activities.
