Hospital Dietitian – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Hospital Dietitian will deliver comprehensive nutritional services to patients at Speciality Hospital Abu Dhabi. You will assess individual nutritional needs, design tailored nutrition programs, and collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients’ nutritional requirements and develop personalized diet plans.
• Implement and monitor nutrition programs, evaluating their effectiveness and reporting results.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses and allied health staff to align medical and nutritional care.
• Plan and oversee food service operations, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation and quality standards.
• Inspect meals for adherence to prescribed diets, palatability and presentation.
• Develop policies and curricula for health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
• Provide nutritional counseling to patients, families and groups, promoting healthy eating habits.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition, food service systems management or a related field.
• Leadership experience in fine‑dining or catering services; hospital experience preferred.
• Current licensure in country of origin and a DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Required skills
