Hospitality & Counters Operations Manager – Retail (MENA & KSA)

About the role

The Hospitality and Counters Operations Manager will lead the strategic vision and day‑to‑day execution of Al‑Futtaim’s in‑store bakery, hospitality and counter concepts across the MENA region and KSA. Reporting to senior retail leadership, the role combines sales planning, operational excellence and cross‑functional collaboration to drive growth and deliver a memorable customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the regional sales plan for hospitality and counters, identifying and acting on growth opportunities.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance, stock accuracy and availability, implementing corrective actions where needed.
• Coordinate seasonal product launches and corporate updates, ensuring timely rollout across all stores.
• Conduct Ready‑to‑Trade checks, customer walkthroughs and service audits to uphold brand standards.
• Partner with Food Buying, UK specialists and operations teams to optimise product assortment and pricing.
• Lead café and counter managers in managing tills, service points and staff performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality or retail operations management, preferably within a multi‑store environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to analyse financial data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of influencing cross‑functional teams.
