Hostess – Lifestyle Dining Restaurant (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at a leading lifestyle dining restaurant in Dubai. The role involves welcoming visitors, managing reservations and ensuring a seamless dining experience in line with the restaurant’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables or waiting areas.
• Manage and update the reservation system, handling bookings and walk‑ins efficiently.
• Provide menu guidance, highlight specials and answer guest inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, well‑presented dining area at all times.
• Address guest complaints or suggestions and report them to management.
• Collaborate with the service team to uphold consistent quality and service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a host/hostess in a high‑end restaurant or hotel.
• Fluent in English; additional language (Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian or Chinese) is a plus.
• Positive, reliable and guest‑oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varied shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant reservation systems.
• Strong customer service, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
