Hostess – Luxury Hospitality Guest Service

About the role

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles The Palm as a Hostess, reporting to the F&B Supervisor. The Hostess provides exceptional and personalized service, ensuring every guest arrival and dining experience is seamless, warm, and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, manage table reservations and control guest flow.
• Take telephone bookings, maintain an organized reservations book, and update the guest database.
• Assist in setting up tables and displays, and ensure the hostess station and menus are clean.
• Present checks, perform cashiering when needed, and handle guest complaints professionally.
• Support other F&B outlets during peak times and train waitstaff and bus staff on hostess standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year hotel experience in Food & Beverage.
• Secondary education with excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Well‑presented, professionally groomed and strong interpersonal skills.
• Full knowledge of the restaurant’s seating/table plan and computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
