Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Housekeeping Attendant who puts guests first and consistently delivers exceptional service. In this role you will maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas while adhering to hotel standards and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor and sign the key log accurately.
• Clean rooms and bathrooms, including making beds, washing sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, floors, and polishing brass or metal fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
• Replenish bathroom and room supplies, arrange guest toiletries neatly, and spot‑clean carpets as needed.
• Keep fire exits and stairways clear, pick up litter from corridors and pathways, and maintain tidy guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas.
• Report any maintenance issues immediately and inform valet service for laundry, dry‑cleaning, or pressing requests.

Required profile

• Vocational training in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Friendly, caring, and dedicated with strong cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Willingness to put in extra effort when required and a passion for serving customers.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player who enjoys collaborating with a multicultural team and guests.
