Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager will lead all housekeeping operations at our Abu Dhabi facility. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation while supporting a customer‑focused service culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping activities, including room inspections and public‑area upkeep.
• Plan and manage staff schedules, training programmes, and performance evaluations.
• Control inventory, order cleaning supplies and linens, and coordinate with the laundry team for efficient linen processing.
• Address guest requests and feedback, collaborating with front‑office and maintenance teams to resolve service issues.
• Enforce health, safety and hygiene protocols throughout the property.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and continuous development of housekeeping personnel.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory experience with team leadership, scheduling and performance management.
• Background in laundry operations, linen management and overall housekeeping processes within hospitality.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and ability to resolve guest concerns.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑department coordination and documentation.
• Experience in hiring, interviewing and onboarding service staff.
• Knowledge of cleaning standards and health‑safety regulations in a hotel environment.
• Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory or managerial role, preferably in hotels or serviced residences.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
