HR Business Partner

About the role

JD.com is seeking an HR Business Partner to drive workforce planning, recruitment and talent acquisition across its global operations. The role will work closely with business leaders and HR teams to align talent strategies with the company’s fast‑paced growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to develop and execute quarterly workforce plans that support business rhythms.
• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for critical positions, including requisition analysis, job posting, candidate sourcing, interview coordination and offer management.
• Explore and manage diverse employment models such as outsourcing, contracting, part‑time and internships to improve organizational agility and control labor costs.
• Select, onboard and evaluate recruitment and HR service vendors, including headhunters, RPOs and outsourcing firms.
• Establish and maintain a recruitment data tracking system; regularly analyse metrics such as time‑to‑fill and channel effectiveness to inform decisions.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives to strengthen JD.com’s attractiveness in target talent markets.
• Ensure compliance with all employment regulations and mitigate recruitment‑related risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience partnering with business leaders on workforce planning and talent acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full‑cycle recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Experience working with external recruitment vendors and managing multiple employment models.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using recruitment metrics to drive improvements.
• Knowledge of employment compliance and risk management practices.
