HR Construction Site Coordinator – Railway Project (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The HR Construction Site Coordinator will serve as the on‑site HR representative for a major railway construction project in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to project management, the role ensures HR policies are applied, supports the workforce, and facilitates smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding, including manpower planning, site inductions, medical exams, visa and work permit processing.
• Maintain employee records, process contracts, transfers, promotions, terminations and monitor probation periods.
• Track daily attendance, timesheets, overtime and leave, and provide accurate payroll inputs to HR and Finance.
• Act as first point of contact for employee relations, address concerns, support disciplinary actions and promote engagement.
• Manage employee accommodation, transportation and welfare facilities, and monitor camp conditions.
• Ensure compliance with company HR policies and UAE Labour Law, monitor visa, Emirates ID and labour card validity, and support audits.
• Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports covering headcount, attendance, turnover, recruitment status and document expiry.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in HR administration, preferably within construction or large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and visa/work‑permit processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with site management and employees.
