HR Generalist – Onboarding

About the role

The HR Generalist – Onboarding will support the end‑to‑end onboarding experience for junior‑level new hires, ensuring all documentation, travel arrangements and welcome activities are completed accurately and on time. Working under the guidance of the HR Coordinator, this role acts as a key liaison between new employees, internal teams and external service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding documentation, data entry and follow‑ups to meet compliance standards.
• Communicate with junior‑level new hires to confirm document submissions and provide standard onboarding instructions, including relocation and travel preparation.
• Work with external suppliers to arrange and submit required entry documents for the UAE.
• Maintain accurate onboarding data in HR systems and trackers.
• Organise travel logistics such as airport pickups, accommodation and transport, ensuring cost‑effective planning.
• Track pre‑joining checklists, flag potential delays and update the HR Coordinator.
• Provide regular status updates to the Talent Acquisition Specialist.
• Support the execution of onboarding events, including welcome sessions and familiarisation activities.

Required profile

• Certificate in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in onboarding or mobilisation within a large organisation.
• Proven experience handling high volumes of onboarding documentation and travel logistics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
• User competency in Taleo HRIS.
