HR Specialist – Human Resources Management

About the role

The HR Specialist will establish and operate the Human Resource Management system to ensure optimal use of the organization’s talent. Reporting to the Head of HR, the role oversees day‑to‑day HR activities, supports staff, and guarantees compliance with UAE labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all HR activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Supervise HR staff, monitor their work, and ensure proper implementation of processes.
• Liaise with approved recruitment agencies and other HR‑related vendors.
• Conduct induction, exit interviews, and employee grievance handling, reporting outcomes to management.
• Assist in promotion, salary adjustment, resignation, and termination recommendations.
• Handle disciplinary matters in line with UAE labour law and maintain a healthy work atmosphere.
• Provide employee counselling when required.
• Support planning and implementation of training and development programmes.
• Coordinate with Accounts and Payroll on wage administration, WPS issues, and employee reimbursements.
• Maintain employee files, organizational charts, SOPs, and policies.
• Lead internal and external HR audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour law.
• Technological competency for HR systems and reporting.
