HSE Support Specialist – UAE National

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking an HSE Support Specialist to assist the HSE Manager in implementing and continuously improving the site Health, Safety and Environment Management System in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on accident prevention, hazard identification, and fostering a proactive HSE culture across all site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and compile monthly HSE reports and e‑KPI data for submission via Intelex and client portals.
• Maintain HSE documentation, records, and trackers such as incident logs, action trackers, and training records.
• Support development and updates of HSE plans, procedures, and related documentation.
• Coordinate HSE meetings, toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and awareness initiatives.
• Track corrective actions from audits, inspections, and incident investigations to ensure timely closure.
• Assist in organizing HSE audits and inspections, handling documentation and logistics.
• Create HSE dashboards, reports, and presentations using available data.
• Manage HSE digital systems (Intelex, e‑SWA, observation tools) including data entry and tracking.
• Maintain the HSE training matrix and ensure up‑to‑date training records for employees and contractors.
• Coordinate HSE inductions and training sessions, handling logistics and attendance records.
• Support communication of HSE alerts, lessons learned, and campaign materials.
• Participate in emergency drills and other HSE activities as a coordinator or observer.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in HSE, Engineering, or a related discipline (Engineering degree required for HSE Engineer designation).
• Up to 8 years of HSE experience in industrial or construction environments.
• UAE national status.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HSE management software such as Intelex and e‑SWA.
• Strong ability to prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Experience maintaining HSE documentation, training matrices, and incident trackers.
