HSE Technician – Safety & Environmental Specialist

About the role

AL TAIF is seeking a dedicated HSE Technician to support the safety and environmental standards of its workshops, warehouses, and office areas. The role ensures compliance with UAE regulations and internal procedures, helping the company maintain optimal conditions for its land‑based platforms and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safety and environmental protocols across all AL TAIF facilities.
• Inspect work areas for hazards, report findings to the HSE Supervisor, and recommend corrective actions.
• Advise staff and management on proper HSE practices and conduct internal HSE training.
• Assist employees in preparing risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare inspection reports and recommendations.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, transport, and disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste in line with UAE regulations.
• Support confidentiality and security of company information.
• Collaborate with the HSE team and perform additional duties as assigned by the HSE Manager.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in an HSE role.
• Familiarity with industrial safety programs and governmental HSE regulations.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong work ethic, and interact effectively with all personnel levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
