Human Resources Executive (Arabic Speaker Preferred)

About the role

The Human Resources Executive will lead the day‑to‑day HR operations of a hotel in the United Arab Emirates. The role requires clear communication of HR policies, management of employee relations programs, and oversight of the hotel’s HR information system.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily HR department activities, including contract compliance, disciplinary procedures, recruitment, orientation, benefits, and employee relations.
• Communicate HR processes to managers and staff through oral and written channels in line with corporate and hotel guidelines.
• Organise employee‑engagement events such as picnics, holiday functions, health fairs, and special promotions.
• Design and implement new programs (e.g., safety initiatives, blood drives) as needed.
• Oversee the Oasys HR system, handling TMX data entry, hires, separations, report generation, and related functions.
• Negotiate unemployment claims and supervise workers’ compensation matters to minimise hotel exposure.
• Prepare periodic HR reports covering turnover, payroll analysis, and operational budgeting.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of UAE Labour Law and local workers‑compensation regulations.
• Strong ability to interact with team members and employee representatives, handling conflicts with patience and diplomacy.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for official memoranda and guidance.
• Thorough understanding of HR practices, state and federal regulations, and budgeting principles.
• Basic mathematical skills for report analysis and budget preparation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Oasys HR system (including TMX data entry and reporting).
