Human Resources Generalist – Luxury Resort in Ajman

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist supports management and the leadership team in handling HR issues, employee transfers, and recruitment activities for a luxury resort in Ajman. The role ensures smooth onboarding, compliance with employment regulations, and effective HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist management and leadership with HR issues and employee transfer requests.
• Monitor and support hiring processes, including drug screens, reference, background and motor vehicle checks.
• Maintain applicant flow logs, new‑hire and personnel files, and enter data into the HR Information System.
• Facilitate new‑employee orientation and ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment laws.
• Support payroll record processing and assist with employee‑relations matters.
• Generate HR data reports, answer phone calls, draft correspondence and serve as HR subject‑matter expert on projects.
• Train new hires on HR processes, programs, policies and information systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of related HR work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
