Human Resources Intern – Hospitality

About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on introduction to Human Resources within a leading global hospitality brand. You will work alongside experienced HR professionals, gaining exposure to recruitment, onboarding, visa administration and employee engagement in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily recruitment cycles for various hotel roles, including candidate coordination via phone and email.
• Support admin workflow by tracking reports, compiling and filing employee personnel files.
• Learn to create employee profiles in the HR Information System (HRIS) and understand the residence‑visa reporting process.
• Participate in onboarding activities, classroom training (L&Q), and engagement events for colleagues and interns.
• Gain an overview of IHG standards, audit procedures and contribute to related documentation.

Required profile

• Currently studying or a fresh graduate from a recognised hospitality programme.
• Flexible, energetic, proactive with a warm and professional demeanor.
• Good understanding of core hotel operations and hospitality service standards.
• Willingness to support events that may extend beyond regular working hours.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HRIS platforms.
