Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist is a senior HR professional who leads core HR functions and promotes a positive workplace culture. You will independently manage recruitment, onboarding, HR records, and compliance reporting to support the organization’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
• Oversee employee onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless new‑hire experience.
• Maintain and protect HR records, ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and data‑protection standards.
• Draft, review, and manage employment documentation such as offer letters, contracts, promotions, warnings, and terminations.
• Ensure all contracts align with local labour law, company policy, and statutory obligations; involve legal counsel when needed.
• Stay up‑to‑date on labour legislation, including standards, working hours, leave, end‑of‑service benefits, and termination procedures.
• Provide accurate HR reports on workforce trends and employee development for data‑driven decisions.
• Partner with leadership and employees to foster an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (post‑graduate degree is a strong asset).
• Minimum 6 years of progressive, hands‑on HR experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of HRIS systems, labour laws and employment regulations.
• Strong analytical ability to produce insightful HR reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
