Humanities & Arts Expert – Remote Part‑Time (70 $ / hr)

About the role

Ethos is partnering with a leading AI lab to enlist seasoned humanities, arts, and culture professionals. You will work remotely, applying your expertise to train advanced language models on a variety of professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.

Key responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated exhibition catalog essays, cultural funding applications, and collection provenance spreadsheets.
• Develop donor briefing decks, public programming outlines, and artist biographical profiles.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to ensure outputs meet scholarly and public‑facing standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in museums, galleries, cultural institutions, arts nonprofits, or academic humanities settings.
• Proven ability to produce scholarly or public‑oriented written material.
• Strong command of art‑historical, literary, or cultural research methods.

Required skills

• Expert‑level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.

What we offer

• Compensation of $70 per hour (up to $1 400 per week).
• Flexible schedule: 5–20 hours per week, with the possibility to increase.
• Fully remote work, start date ASAP.
