About the role
Join NMDC Dredging & Marine as a Hydraulic Laboratory Graduate and contribute to the preparation and execution of physical model studies in a state‑of‑the‑art laboratory environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the setup of physical models.
- Supervise configuration and calibration of instrumentation and physical models alongside the laboratory operations team.
- Verify model dimensions and tolerances.
- Conduct testing and perform the preliminary phase of data analysis.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and communicate findings with the Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer.
- Assist in collating and presenting study output data.
- Follow agreed procedures and quality‑assurance standards to ensure accurate completion of studies.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures relevant to laboratory work.
Required profile
- Master's Degree in Civil, Coastal, Maritime Engineering, Physics or Oceanography, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
