Hygiene & Stewarding Supervisor – Dubai Hotel

About the role

Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel is looking for a proactive Hygiene & Stewarding Supervisor to lead its hygiene and stewarding teams. The role combines hands‑on supervision, food safety compliance and continuous improvement of cleaning standards across all Food & Beverage areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Hygiene Team, ensuring completion of hygiene schedules and maintaining high cleanliness standards in all outlets.
• Supervise the stewarding department, overseeing kitchen equipment cleaning, waste segregation, and adherence to PPE requirements.
• Maintain food safety and protection, applying proper food handling, dating, storage, and rotation practices.
• Create and update SOPs, HACCP manuals and FSMS policies, and keep accurate documentation and records.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance inspections and manage asset and inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Respond to audit reports, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Lead by example with a hands‑on approach, motivating team members to excel in hygiene and service quality.
• Monitor and control costs, ordering and rotating cleaning supplies while maintaining breakage and snagging records.
