ICT & Computer Science Teacher – Al Ain British Academy (AY 25‑26)

About the role

Aldar Academies are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Computing/ICT for Al Ain British Academy, starting immediately. The role involves delivering a comprehensive Key Stage 3 Computing curriculum, including GCSE Computer Science, ICT and A‑level Computer Science, while adhering to the English National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver outstanding ICT and Computer Science lessons in line with the English National Curriculum and GCSE requirements.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of SEN, EAL and gifted & talented students, using assessment data to inform planning.
• Maintain classroom discipline and uphold the school’s Behaviour for Learning policy.
• Assess student progress, record data, and provide regular feedback and reports to parents.
• Collaborate with other professionals such as speech therapists and educational psychologists as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching Computing/ICT within the English curriculum.
• Proven ability to raise standards and close learning gaps.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to professional development.
