ICU Registered Nurse – Critical Care

About the role

The ICU Registered Nurse provides high‑quality nursing care to critically ill patients within Amana Healthcare’s Intensive Care Unit, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs and response to treatment.
• Operate and manage life‑support equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Valid DOH/HAAD license or eligibility to obtain one.
• 2–3 years of ICU experience.
• Experience with ventilators and critical care equipment.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Required skills

• Ventilator operation and management.
• Infusion pump handling.
• Patient monitoring and vital signs assessment.
