IGCSE Mathematics Teacher (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

The Westminster School Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic IGCSE Mathematics Teacher to join its senior secondary team from August 2026. You will deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction that prepares students for GCSE and IGCSE examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with GCSE/IGCSE curriculum specifications.
• Utilise a range of instructional strategies, practical investigations and technology to enhance learning.
• Develop and implement formative and summative assessments, monitoring progress and preparing students for exams.
• Differentiate instruction to support high achievers and learners needing additional help.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades and reports.
• Participate in departmental meetings, internal standardisation, moderation processes and school improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to extracurricular maths activities, clubs, competitions or field trips.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related scientific field.
• Qualified teacher training (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching senior secondary IGCSE mathematics.
• Strong subject knowledge and practical laboratory skills.
