Income Auditor – Hotel Finance

About the role

Media One Hotel in Dubai is seeking an Income Auditor to ensure the accuracy of daily financial reports and support the finance team in delivering high‑quality service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify Night Auditor logbook, daily revenue report, and Food & Beverage report with supporting vouchers and trial balance.
• Distribute daily reports after obtaining approval from the Director of Finance or Financial Controller.
• Review rate variance report to ensure correct rates are applied.
• Check city ledger and credit‑card transfers of the day and forward them to Accounts Receivable.
• Audit the daily cash summary and update the General Cashier’s report.
• Investigate cash overages and shortages, taking appropriate corrective action.
• Review Front Office foreign exchange rates as required.
• Conduct weekly float counting for all house fund holders and prepare a monthly float count summary.

Required profile

• Degree in hotel management or accounting.
• At least one year of experience within a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Opera property management system.
• Familiarity with Micros, FBM and SUN System.
• Proficiency with standard office software.
