Instrumentation, Controls & Automation Lead – Abu Dhabi

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced ICA Lead to oversee instrumentation, controls and automation activities for infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning, ensuring technical excellence and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and integration of instrumentation, process control and automation systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project milestones on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations and client specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Manage documentation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Controls, Automation or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience supervising ICA projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
