Inventory Control Quality Assurance Team Leader (UAE National)

About the role

As an Inventory Control Quality Assurance (ICQA) Team Leader at Amazon Thunder in Abu Dhabi, you will lead a team responsible for the safety, quality and performance of inbound or outbound fulfillment centre operations. You will plan resources, coach staff and drive continuous improvement while ensuring a productive and safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day activities, ensuring safety, quality, performance and member experience.
• Identify training needs, manage attendance, performance and coaching.
• Set departmental expectations, promote teamwork and open communication.
• Monitor safety procedures, document incidents and enforce safe work practices.
• Track production metrics, analyse data and develop improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with HR, Facilities, Safety and IT to secure resources for projects.
• Mentor and develop team members, recognising top performance and applying progressive discipline.
• Conduct daily and weekly time‑card reviews to ensure pay accuracy.
• Rotate across shifts/departments and work extended hours as required.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Minimum 1 year (12 months) of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
