Investment Advisor

About the role

As an Investment Advisor at Emirates NBD, you will assess clients' risk and return profiles, identify suitable investment products, and construct tailored investment portfolios. You will work closely with Senior Relationship Managers and Ultra‑High Net Worth clients to deliver a seamless advisory experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist investment advice across equities, fixed income, FX/commodities, funds, real estate, structured solutions, direct investments, derivatives and discretionary mandates.
• Identify and execute cross‑selling opportunities between departments.
• Assist Relationship Managers in attracting new assets under management and understanding new products.
• Verify that advisory and discretionary trades are correctly executed and recorded in the Advent system.
• Assess and continuously evaluate client risk profiles, construct portfolios, and rebalance as needed.
• Report regularly on portfolio performance and prepare investment account reviews with the Chief Investment Office.
• Analyze positions, asset allocation, suitability and propose investment switches or new ideas.
• Participate in hiring Investment Advisors and support the professional development of team members.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a finance‑related field.
• CFA charterholder or actively enrolled in the CFA program.
• Private banking experience with a strong investment focus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Advent investment management system.
