About the role
Our client, a large global fund with a broad investment mandate across developed and emerging markets, is expanding its private markets team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on sourcing, underwriting, and managing private credit investments, including co‑investments and fund commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Research, analyse, and execute international private credit opportunities.
- Build and maintain complex financial models for potential investments.
- Prepare thorough investment memorandums for committee review.
- Monitor and report on the performance of existing portfolio investments.
Required profile
- Proven experience in private credit, either through fund manager selection or direct buy‑outs/co‑investments.
- Hands‑on experience with complex private credit structures such as unitranche, mezzanine, structured or special‑situations transactions.
- Strong academic background with a first‑class track record.
- Willingness to be based full‑time in the Middle East.
