Investment Specialist – Emirati Deposits Team

About the role

The Investment Specialist will deliver investment advisory services for the Emirati Deposits team, overseeing a substantial multi‑asset book across the bank’s commercial segments and supporting private banking activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide investment advisory (IA) to clients and relationship managers.
• Manage and monitor multi‑asset portfolios, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Support private banking by retaining clients during relationship manager transitions.
• Collaborate on creating marketable investment products and area viewpoints.
• Mentor junior staff, guiding them on investment advisory matters.
• Produce research inputs to analyze, propose, and implement investment solutions.
• Monitor, rebalance, and restructure portfolios to enhance client satisfaction.
• Deliver customized solutions directly to clients or through relationship managers.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of macro‑economic research and its application to investments.
• Proven experience in investment advisory, financial markets, and economic analysis.
• Deep knowledge of banking and asset‑management industry developments.
• Comprehensive grasp of investment products, instruments, and asset‑allocation fundamentals.
• Ability to assess client risk profiles and match appropriate investment solutions.
