IT Support Technician (UAE National)

About the role

The IT Support Technician will ensure the smooth operation of client IT endpoints and support employees with their devices. This position plays a key role in maintaining core IT infrastructure, performing operational checks, and remediating identified issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to end users and resolve tickets.
• Prepare, tag, assign and track new equipment.
• Create and manage user accounts, ACLs, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Monitor hardware/software inventory and place order requests.
• Maintain endpoint security, perform software updates and patching.
• Generate monthly endpoint health check and infrastructure health reports.
• Verify security features and licensing for client employees.
• Respond to on‑site incidents at client offices.
• Maintain configuration backups of infrastructure components.
• Handle SOC alerts and remedial actions.
• Update and review the client’s asset register.
• Conduct monthly Active Directory and system access reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, IT or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT support and ticket resolution.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and domain management.
• Working knowledge of Office 365, Exchange Online and Azure AD.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS.
• Knowledge of information security principles and related technologies.
• Microsoft or other infrastructure certifications are a plus.
• Strong documentation and diagramming abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic advantageous).
