Joinery Workshop Manager

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Joinery Workshop Manager to lead our on-site workshop in Dubai. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating production activities to meet project timelines and quality standards while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the joinery workshop, including production planning and resource allocation.
• Review drawings and specifications, provide technical guidance and ensure accurate fabrication and finishing of joinery items.
• Mentor and manage workshop teams, assign tasks, monitor performance and conduct coaching.
• Maintain workshop equipment, track inventory and liaise with project managers, site teams and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, workmanship and material usage.

Required profile

• Strong background in joinery, carpentry or woodworking with hands-on experience in high-quality interior fit-out.
• Proven experience managing a joinery or fabrication workshop, including planning and production control.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings and translate them into production plans.
• Experience leading diverse teams and providing clear direction and performance feedback.
• Solid understanding of joinery materials, machinery, tools and finishing techniques.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in workshop operations.
• Relevant technical qualification or diploma in carpentry, joinery or related construction discipline (desirable).
