About the role
A&S International is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join its team at the Sharjah SAIF Zone. You will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports and assist with month‑end closing activities in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, petty cash and bank transactions.
- Reconcile bank, customer and supplier accounts.
- Assist with inventory accounting and cost record maintenance.
- Prepare accounting reports and support month‑end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2–3 years of accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate financial records.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel.
- Accounting software.
- Bookkeeping and financial record management.
- Bank, customer and supplier reconciliations.
