Junior Commercial Lawyer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Commercial & Technology Lawyer to support our clients on a wide range of commercial, technology, procurement and corporate legal matters. The role involves drafting and negotiating complex agreements, advising on governance and compliance, and assisting cross‑border business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as Master Service Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Statements of Work, Professional Services Agreements, NDAs, Distribution Agreements and Data Processing Agreements.
• Provide legal advice on commercial transactions, contractual obligations, risk mitigation and compliance requirements.
• Support procurement, vendor management and supplier contracting processes.
• Advise on data privacy, technology transactions and operational matters.
• Assist with corporate governance, regulatory filings and entity maintenance.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on commercial and corporate issues.
• Maintain contract management systems and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Law degree and qualification as a lawyer, solicitor, barrister or attorney.
• Based in the UAE, preferably Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, corporate or technology law, preferably in‑house or with technology companies.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.
• Familiarity with procurement, SaaS and software licensing transactions.
• Knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
