Junior Procurement Officer (UAE National)

About the role

Etihad is seeking a young Emirati professional with some procurement experience to join its sourcing team. The role offers exposure to end‑to‑end procurement processes, from sourcing to contract administration, within a fast‑moving aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Category Managers through the full sourcing lifecycle, including requirements definition, RFI/RFP, award, and contract activities.
• Execute tactical and low‑value procurement using self‑service channels such as P‑Cards, managed catalogs, and guided buying.
• Manage procurement operations, ensuring compliance with Etihad policies, accurate PO creation, and proper contract documentation.
• Perform post‑contract administration, track contract consumption, and report supplier performance.
• Liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve payment issues.

Required profile

• Diploma‑level qualification.
• Awareness of aviation and indirect categories.
• Preferably 3 + years of procurement operations and sourcing experience.
• Familiarity with Procure‑to‑Pay processes and tools such as SAP and Ariba.
