Junior Quality Assurance Specialist – Warehouse & Shipping

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Specialist to support cGMP compliance across its raw material, packaging material, and finished product warehouses. The role focuses on maintaining high standards in storage, distribution, and shipping activities while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor continuous cGMP practices in all warehouse areas.
• Ensure compliance with Good Storage Practices (GSP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and relevant regulations (FDA, WHO, GMP).
• Investigate warehouse deviations such as temperature excursions, mishandling, or inventory discrepancies and drive immediate corrective actions.
• Handle market complaint investigations and change control related to warehouse operations.
• Review and verify documentation for product transfers, temperature logger reports, and shipping releases.
• Manage rejected, obsolete, blocked, and expired materials, ensuring proper disposition.
• Oversee receipt of gate passes for shipping and ensure QA staff follow approved procedures.
• Verify labeling, inspection, and storage of incoming raw materials and packaging components according to SOPs.
• Monitor storage conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanliness) and maintain good documentation practices.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of cGMP, GSP, GDP, and related regulatory standards.
• Ability to conduct investigations and document corrective actions.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment and collaborate with QA teams.
