L2 Collaboration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an L2 Collaboration Engineer to join our client’s Dubai office for a one‑year fixed‑term assignment (extendable). The role centers on designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco collaboration platforms to deliver reliable video‑conferencing and voice services.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) environments, including Call Bridge clustering, Web Bridge, database replication, Recorder & Streamer services.
• Perform CMS upgrades, health checks, backup validation, and routine maintenance.
• Resolve CMS‑related call quality, conferencing, and integration issues; manage CMS APIs for bulk provisioning.
• Administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), configure SIP trunks, device pools, regions, CSS, partitions, media resources, LDAP sync, and Jabber/Webex integrations.
• Support IP phones, SIP endpoints, and collaboration applications; execute CUCM upgrades, patches, and cluster maintenance.
• Troubleshoot call routing, registration, media, and voice quality problems.
• Develop Python scripts for health monitoring, log analysis, and automation of routine tasks.
• Utilize APIs, Git, Ansible, and configuration versioning tools to apply DevOps practices and streamline infrastructure updates.

Required profile

• Proven L2 support experience with Cisco Meeting Server and Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
• Hands‑on experience performing upgrades, troubleshooting call quality, and managing APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation scripting.
