Land Surveyor – Roads (Al Ain, UAE)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented Land Surveyor to join its team in Al Quaa, Al Ain. The role involves performing land and field surveys, geodetic calculations, and supporting road, infrastructure and bridge projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
• Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
• Complete surveying requirements on schedule and within man‑hour and cost budgets.
• Check setting‑out and levels, verify services locations and ensure protection.
• Prepare sketches to support field work and maintain survey information (field books, sketches, calculations).
• Measure work done when required and assist in preparation of ‘as‑built’ drawings.
• Observe site safety procedures and participate in health and safety activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in land surveying, setting‑out, structural inspection on roads, infrastructure and bridge projects.
• Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard industry procedures.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
