Lead Aircraft Mechanic - Base Heavy Maintenance

About the role

Lead Aircraft Mechanic at Base Heavy Maintenance, responsible for performing maintenance on Emirates and third‑party aircraft, ensuring safety and airworthiness of A380, A350 and Boeing 777 fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and component replacement in line with Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) procedures.
• Operate specialised tooling and test equipment for system checks, testing and repairs.
• Communicate technical status to engineers and other departments, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Support Emirates Flight Training Academy fleet maintenance, AOG recovery and line operations.

Required profile

• Vocational, National or Higher National Diploma or apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance within an engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance safety, human factors and general engineering practices.
• Valid Airport Driving Permit and understanding of airside driving regulations.
