Lead Quality Engineer – Civil

About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer for civil works on a gas processing and compression PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role will drive quality assurance across pipeline, utilities and infrastructure development, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the quality engineering function for civil and infrastructure activities on multi‑million‑dollar gas processing projects.
• Develop, implement and monitor quality plans, inspection procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, ADNOC and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Oversee quality control for gas pipelines, NGL pipelines, sour‑gas treatment facilities and related utilities.
• Conduct audits, non‑conformance reviews and corrective action tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 + years of experience in oil & gas, including EPC projects.
• Proven experience on gas pipeline, NGL pipeline and sour‑gas treatment projects.
• Experience on multi‑million‑dollar, onshore and offshore projects (5 + years).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Previous work on ADNOC gas processing and pipeline projects is highly desirable.
