Lifeguard – Competitive Swim Club

About the role

Speedo Swim Squads Dubai is a competitive swim club dedicated to developing confident swimmers of all ages while prioritising safety. We are seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming pool environment. The Lifeguard will supervise all activity, respond swiftly to emergencies and assist coaches during swimming lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all activities at the aquatic facility and enforce pool rules.
• Assist coaches with swimming lessons and ensure swimmer safety.
• Monitor designated areas, recognise early signs of danger and warn unsafe behaviour.
• Respond to emergencies, perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR as needed.
• Maintain clean, tidy and well‑organised pool and deck areas.
• Keep accurate incident reports, logs and records.

Required profile

• Valid, recognised lifeguard qualification.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong swimming ability and physical fitness.
• Excellent observation skills and ability to stay alert for long periods.
• Calm, decisive response under pressure and clear communication.
• Flexibility to work shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
