Lifeguard – Guest Safety & Ride Operations

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking enthusiastic lifeguards to ensure the safety of guests across its world‑class attractions on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The role combines water‑rescue duties with guest‑service responsibilities in a dynamic, year‑round environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all water attractions, rides and slides, responding promptly to any emergencies.
• Maintain guest, colleague and contractor safety while working at heights, in water and in extreme temperatures.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and standard operating procedures for ride dispatch and guest safety.
• Keep rescue and basic life‑support skills at test‑ready levels at all times.
• Move furniture, ride vehicles and equipment as required throughout the park.
• Provide clear directions, smile and be friendly to guests, working nights, evenings and holidays as needed.

Required profile

• Corrected or uncorrected 20/25 vision.
• Swim a minimum of 50 m non‑stop using front crawl or breaststroke.
• Underwater swim to a depth of 1.4 m for 3 m and retrieve a 10‑lb brick.
• Maintain test‑ready lifeguard skills according to the International Lifeguard Training Program.
• Basic spoken English proficiency.

Required skills

• International Lifeguard Training Program certification.
• SCUBA certification.
