M&A Associate – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Lazard’s newly opened Abu Dhabi office is seeking an M&A Associate to support its financial advisory team. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients, contributing to high‑impact transactions across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct a wide range of financial analyses.
• Analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information to support deal decisions.
• Perform industry research and assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials.
• Interact with senior bankers and clients, helping to manage deal processes from start to finish.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Investment Banking or Corporate M&A/ECM at a Tier‑1 bank or financial adviser.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and proven academic excellence.
• Team‑player mindset with the ability to thrive in a demanding, initiative‑driven environment.
• Regional or UAE experience is required; fluency in English is mandatory, Arabic a plus.
